In 1997, dance revealed itself to her. Originally from the island of La Réunion, Sophie became a student at Ismaël Aboudou’s Company (CIE), a dance company from the Indian Ocean. She devoted herself fully to her passion and was trained first in Modern Jazz by the choreographer himself, who had among other things attended and followed an academic program at the Theater of Harlem in the USA.
